Antiques are our passion and our profession.

Antik-France is a company where we do what we love.

We are Alla and Christian HUREAU.

Alla Hureau is a professional art historian (graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg), a professional musician (piano), a Doctor of Philosophy, until 2011 a lecturer in the philosophy department of Chelyabinsk State University, and the author of two monographs devoted to ontology and the philosophy of culture.

Christian Hureau is the owner of a thermoforming factory, a medical biologist, inventor, cabinetmaker, computer specialist, chef and mountaineer (two ascents of Mont Blanc).

A few figures demonstrate our activity:

• In 2012, we created our first website;

• in 2013, we became the company Antik-France;

• Over the years, more than 5,000 antique items have been offered for sale, which we ship worldwide — both by parcel and by freight transport.

Everything is in our hands — from the design and development of the site, from the search for ancient objects and their study to their restoration, from the photography of our antiques and their online posting to the packaging of each parcel.

One of our particular passions is the restoration of antique lamps and chandeliers.

We are the official chandelier makers (chandelier restorers) of the French National Assembly.

When necessary for the restoration of our antiques, we call upon the finest cabinetmakers, master glassmakers and gilding specialists to recreate the missing elements.

We do everything to restore the beauty and integrity of the magnificent objects of the Belle Époque — for our own pleasure and, we hope, for the pleasure of all who will own them.
